☠☠☠Ghouls Gathering☠☠☠

1 Nov

Last weekend, I completed one of my Fall Goal’s . We threw a halloween party in our place! It was sooooo much fun! Even before the party!

Our friends and my sister arrived on saturday afternoon and we immediately started to get ready for the night.

Before the party  we had so much to do!

The buffet table was decorated by “muddy” cupcakes, ghost marshmallows, saussage fingers, cheddar wraps, carrot hors d’oeuvre and avocado sauce. We had also some “bloody” oven roasted potatoes. And the indispensable buttermilk biscuits (which I didn’t have time to cook but ordered from KFC)

The decoration phase was the best!

For welcome drinks I made these  bottles for my guests. They are really easy to make and really got my guests in the mood with some green drinks in it!

A fun D.I.Y. Cute Bottle Glasses:

These are the bottles we bought from a restaurant. I couldn't find any clean and unwritten bottles to buy.

These are the labels I downloaded and printed from "How to Haunt Your House"

A nice way to hide the writings.

A little ribbon for the bottom line.

Annnnnndddd...

Voilaaaa!

I‘m thinking about to make some cute bottles for milky nights.

That night, we had a zombie, a werewolf , a witch, a french playboy, a tortured soul from hell, and an annoying clown. Also, celebrities attended to our party!  Amy Winehouse from the grave, hideous Regan MacNeil and poor attacked red riding hood were there.

Though the next day was a disaster for everyone for being hangover, It was  totally  a great night!

Mr. Jackson with his game “Michael Jackson The Experience” brightened our night! ( Sorry neighbours…)

I do regret that we haven’t had this party before! On sunday morning I found myself thinking the next year’s costume.

While talking about costumes, the makeup and costume winner was Elif with her Regan makeup! Her maker was her boyfriend Ömer and while he was doing her makeup I heard something like  ” Would you ever want to make love with me again?”

But sorry Elif, Heidi Klum nailed it!

She is a total bitch....

I can  proudly  say that we had a cool and nice party with our precious guests. I want to thank them again for being there, and of course for their fabulous presents for us…

I’m really ashamed to say it but this month I had the perfect gifts!

I always say that the best gifts are always the belated ones! My love gave me my birthday gift which I was dying for!  ♥

Now that I can easily design  my invitations!

And these killers are from my aunt!

This was totally on my wish list, from Orkun…to make him lovely dinners

And this one is for my suicide with pancakes! From my favorite couple Elif & Ömer

These Istanbul themed tea cups are sooo cute. They are from Deniz

And this vintage wooden frame is the best choice for our living room, from Bukra

We have the best friends! Thank you sooooo much again!

I told you before, I’m a lucky bitch! And I think october is my lucky month of the year.

I check my goals for the fall, I’m almost done with them. I love creating some goals and accomplishing.  I’m working on my “30 Things before I became 30″ goals.

My 30 Days of Truth Meme is still going on but honestly I’m really bored with it, I’m looking forward to complete it and then start to this new challenge;

It will also be good for my 365 photo project ( Oh yes I’m absolutely still doing it!) for one month.

These were the news from Terziler Mansion!

I hope everything is ok by your side

xoxo

D.I.Y. Wedding Favors

19 Aug

I know It looks like I’ll be gushing about our wedding this, our wedding that but I can’t help it! After two weeks, I’ll be a married lady! Believe me, It is unbelievable.  Anyways, I keep the “emotional blog post” for later, a prelude is enough for now…

I do want our wedding day to be very special and unique (like many other brides). So there are (still) tones of things to do by ourselves.  We made our own wedding invitations and wedding envelopes, our custom wedding flutes, some banners for our photo shoot, our wedding favors and even our confettis! I’m so glad and proud to say that,  everything about our wedding is sans pareil! And I swear,  I am not brag bitching! I do work hard for these stuff. So it is my right to mention evey single detail about it. They are aaaaaall hand made.

This week, we’re occupied with our wedding favors.

For these lovely babies, I ordered 500 pieces of mini glassine bags from Michelle Hagerty’s Etsy  shop.

She is so adorable!

The mini bags are 2 inch x 3.5 inch, which are perfect for my dream wedding favors and they are of course USDA and FDA approved.

After I received the bags, I needed labels for them. I wanted them to be matching to our wedding invitations. So I designed the labels. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to get them printed, punched and ribboned. So I found that kind lady, Derya, who has a lovely shop in Pasaj. Thanks to her again, she sent 500 pieces, cut and ribboned labels immediately with a lovely gift.

The candy inside the favors was unquestionably the Jelly Beans!.

So with our punch, this week, we started to tag every single bag. It’s sometimes back breaking but I really have fun and get excited when I check what we’ve done.

Tonight Emre will join us to help. I hope by the end of this week, we’ll complete this mission.

So as guessed, this weekend will be crazy. I’ve my wedding dress rehearsal, we have some invitations to send, start our medication for our honeymoon, have to shop for my henna night, get our vacation photos’ films developped , going to a pool for some sunbath :P  If I have time, I’ll be dealing with uploading some Iphone photos to my Flickr account and write a vacation post about Bodrum. Finally, I updated my 365 Project. It is much more easy with the Iphone application.

I’ve lots of thing to do, to share, to create, soo many projects to realize but I know they should wait. So keep peeping! I’ll be back with lovely inspirational stuff!

By realising today is friday, I wish you a hot weekend.

Kreative WeeKend!

6 Jun

It was such a creative sunday for me as I was at home all day (except the sea view breakfast we had in Mudanya). As I was a bit down because of my pmdd, I prefered to be at home and make some stuff. On saturday, after the wedding of our friends, I’ve bought some cute tapes and cardboards for my scrapbook. I was so excited about the wedding party on saturday night because the wedding was hold in the same place with ours! So it was a rehearsal for us to see and change the things we’d like to change. Next day we went to the place and discuss our demands. Thanks to the understanding lady, I think we’ll have our dream wedding. There are some changes with the plans so I have to deal with these details this week.

These were the giveaway of Airfel’s card case and pen. And now they are our love boxes♥

These are the little buttons that Mary, the shop owner of 2pupeez, sent me as a gift! I’d like to thank her again!

I made some tissue paper flowers too but I’m going to share them in an other Bricolage post with “how to make” details.

But I guess It is not going to happen real soon as our wedding is 2 and a half months away and I have so much things to do and reorganize!

Wait for me! I’ll be back with the perfect blog layout and some wedding posts for some little girls who are eager for wedding.

Bisous.

Photo Journal Episode 1

23 May

So, this my post in english after a long while. As we are in the arrangement phase of our wedding, 24 hours a day is not enough for me. There are soooooo many things to think, to arrange and to do that I can not believe. I’m over with the reception playlist but I need to complete the dancing playlist. We finally decided on our wedding invitations yesterday! After more than 10 different designs that I made, we settled one of them with a little adjustment with colors. Though It was very stressfull to find the design that made us totally satisfied with, It was super fun! I want to make money from this activity real soon.

And yesterday, I also completed the design of my bachelorette party invitations. We (with my friends) haven’t fixed on a place, but I do want to have a karaoke night that day! I am dying to wear a cone bra like Madonna’s and sing Like a Virgin!

So for my girls (and boys, also) I made this unique and sexy inviation. Hope you enjoy!

(It is not complete btw)
Besides all of these, I placed some of my orders from Etsy. We can say that, It will be a semi-D.I.Y. wedding. I’ll make our wedding favors with Jelly Beans. I ordered 500 hundred pieces of small glassine bags already. Sure they will have some lovely details on them. I am planning to create tons of heart confettis for each table. So I ordered a heart shaped paper punch, too. (and a little something punch la la laaa la laaa) Our wedding place will full of hearts! I go by one by according to the Power Point presentation I made.
These days, we know we have to finalize our honeymoon plans. We still haven’t decided where to go. I’d like to spend that week on an tropical island but Mr. Terziler is anxious about the looooooooong flight by saying that we don’t need to spend our 2 days on road. :) We have 2 options right now and tonight I’ll make my presentation to him for our final decision.
Burry me here.

In addition to my 365 Project, (If you check, the 8th of May is empty because I can not find the photo! It was the mother’s day and we had the best breakfast table so I pictured it but it is lost!) I decided to start a photo journal for us.

We took so many photos and I’d like to organize them in a beautiful and creative (and crafty!) way. I feel so great when I create something so this project is perfect for me. I use so many pretty images in addition to my vintage fabrics. And also the designs from my gifted hands :P I’ll share the progress here by photos. So maybe you can be inspired and create something.

Hope you have a great end of month!

Love ♥

Kendin Pişir Kendin Ye.

16 May

Yeni bir kategori ekledim bloguma. “Bricolage“. Bilmeyenler için D.I.Y. dersem anlarlar mı acaba?

Bende parlak vernik yerine mat vernik oldugundan boyamadım. Fakat zaman içerisinde yıpranmaması adına da verniklemek şart. Bakın bakın negzel oldu işte.
