30 Days Photography Challenge

30 May

And finally it’s time for another photography challenge. After my 365 project (completed with success), I will host this challenge gladly. I also tag The Lady and Pınar to join me for these daily episodes.

I’ll be starting this coming friday, 1st of June. So the whole month will be full of my daily photos. I also want to print them who am I kidding? We haven’t printed our honemoon and holiday photos of last year…

Hope ladies keep up with me.

June..Joone…JUNE!

28 May

Yes, 3 weeks ago my dream of june was summer, sun, seaside and picnics. But yesterday, a lovely sunday ended up like this;

Buuuuuuutt, in spite of everything, it was a really nice weekend AGAIN!

Though some break up blues had been ruling over from time to time, ( two of our friends sadly are going through a break up nowadays :( ) it was pretty nice.

It is also hard to handle with break up situations like this, as a friend of both sides. Should you talk about it or just ignore and try to relax him/her? Or if you talk what should you say? Yes, they have to stay strong, yes, they need to occupy themselves…Both sides know it very well but….

I can’t help thinking that the jinx around the couples is beause of the  Venus retro this year. Venus retrogates between 15th may and 27 June. And astrologistes warn us to be careful about the relationships and the new marriages.

I just wish everything turns out with the best for both of them…

Well, we spent an extra beautiful but exhausting friday in Istanbul as we arrived on thursday night. We dealed with some super secret stuffs on friday and still waiting for the results. I’ll write about it later. Maybe…

Saturday, we spontaneously found ourselves drinking turkish coffee and waiting the fortune teller. Oh if everthing takes place as he told us…I wouldn’t look for anything else in my life

Sunday, as I mentioned, was like summer during the day. We visited Orkun in his “cottage” and smell the spring a little.

Today I checked my calender and realised we have plans for each weekend in june…

I’m dying to have a picnic! But this month seems impossible :(

This weekend we decided with my sister to consume fruits as much as we can. I’ve been reading articles about right nourishment lately and found really delicious and light receipes for the summer. I’ll share them in coming days.

Of course strawberry and melon smoothies will be our #1 drinks.

And this weekend ended with a lovely family dinner out…

Hope this week shines and THE SUN COMES UP PLEASE!

Till next time…

Love,

F.

PS. I’ve received a few e-mails about our honeymoon in Zanzibar. I’ll send a detailed reply within 2 days.

Happiness This Weekend and All Weekends

14 May

Good morning class!

I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend. If you were with your mother, no doubt it was a nice weekend. For me it was the loveliest weekend I had for a very long time.

I eliminated one thing off of my 30 Things Before 30 list! We went to Go-Kart on saturday!

For the first time in my life, I drove one of these small racing cars and It was wonderful! I really don’t know why I haven’t tried it before! It was so much fun! I’m planning to have a Go-Kart party with a crowded group of friends one night.

Saturday was the day that another  first has happened. We rode a tandem bicyle!

We had a lovely afternoon in the biggest park in the city. I’m also planning a giant picnic over here.

It was weird but so much fun, riding a tandem.

Sunday, It was Mother’s Day and we were invited to the traditional breakfast of mom. I’m proud to say I drove all the way to my parents’ house (it is almost 100km). It was again my first long distance drive.

I love every single minute we spend at our parents’ place and I think I always forget to take photos! Everyone was there and we had a lovely family time.

Once again, happy Mother’s Day to every mother and mother to be! And I love you mom!

These days I have a new addiction : GetGlue. For those who don’t have an idea about what Get Glue is, It’s a social networking website and also application for mobiles. You check -in what you’re watching, playing and even thinking (!). The more check-ins the more points you receive. You also win stickers! So far I have 7 stickers.

My favorite is above, I won it last friday night when I had a date with this handsome…

Oh and yes, popcorn was over before we saw the movie…As usual…

We’re planning a romantic trip next month but we’ll see… And next month the wedding season opens! We need to be in a wedding out of town. Hope the weather gets warmer. Also, bicycle season needs to be opened! We have a new member ( haven’t named it yet). One of my 30 things is “Cycling all day” and I’m looking forward to accomplish it. I’m going to make some changes in my list as some of the challenges are incredibly impossible. I might be cheating  a bit.

Enough for today class. This week I may deal with some trip arrangements and preparations. So I will be busy. Till next time, take care and

Love,

F.

*Work Less. Everyone Works.

2 May

It’s always the same… You work your ass off, the nerve wracking business makes you mad, the stupid voices at the office, during the meetings, make you wanna force choke everyone there or you dream about becoming Tate from AHS and you know the story…

Then you decide that you need a vacation. A few days seem enough. You take it. You grandmotherly pack your bags and leave. You spend 6 nice days away from everything but close to things you like, people you love. Soon afterwards, the last day it hits you that you’ll spend the next day at the office, hearing all those stupid voices. And the next day, and the next one. And the next…

The never ending story…

Well, I’ve been away from blogosphere for a while and how I needed that. I renewed my domain for another one year today ( hooraaay!!!) and hoping to be back for posting regularly.

Meanwhile we had a petit vacation in Istanbul last week. My sister and friends were in Amsterdam and we were tasked to take care of their kitties. It was nice spending 6 days with friends when we’ve missed Istanbul a lot.

I think I put on 6 lbs in 6 days. So starting from today, I’m heading to gym every single day. Also I read that the best way to get over post vacation blues is to eat healthy, do sports and sleep well. So that might be a great start for me.

I remember last year may time… Oh it was such a tempest as we were dealing with our wedding preparations. I remember organizing each weekend! There were always places to be, people to see, rendezvous to catch! It’s now nice to have some calm and quite time this spring. So I need to focus on my 30 things before 30 list.

I was supposed to read 10 French Litterature Classics. I started reading La Peste and I’m stiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiilllll reading it. I suck when it comes to reading, I know.

Some of them needs to be changed as there is no way that we go to France this year.( Visiting Le Chateau de Versailles, Disneyland Resort, Paris…) or going back to blonde as my friend and hairstylist doesn’t let me. Maybe I can find other goals to accomplish before I turn 30 next september. Here is my goals by the way.

One last thing before I leave, you can check out this website to see a pooper who can not and shouldn’t try a challenge again.

Love,

F.

Well, once again, end of a challenge. My favorite song at this time last year.

Honestly I don’t remember what my favorite song was. But I do remember I was listening to this song a lot.
