To Ombré or not To Ombré?

This time… When you want to do “something” with your hair. One day you need a cut, the next day you’re happy with the lenght of your hair but you’re 100% sure that the colour needs to be changed. One week later, you are dying for a beautiful shade of red. Then you remember, it’s really hard to keep it. That night you watch a movie and you’re going to bed with the idea of going blonde just like the lady on the movie…

If you’re reading my blog for a while, you know that I don’t like long hair. I mean, on me. I had my hair the longest when I got married and the first thing i did after we got back from our honeymoon, was having a pixie cut. I love when I see women with long hair, if the hair is good. I mean, what is the point of having long hair if you have a scruffy look with all that split ends with faded hair dye on it? This is not even an healthy look and it is definetely NOT fancy…

Enough with disgracing sleazy hair ladies…

And yes it’s that time of the year for me. Craving for doing something for my hair. As now I’m well awared of how dangerous hair dyes are, actually I didn’t want to do anything at first. But then, I discovered that a little dye at the end of your hair is not that risky for you. I’m talking about the famous ombré hair.

I now have a short bob and I wasn’t sure if ombre hair goes with that short hair styles but when I looked for a few samples, I think it’s not that bad.  Especially I really like Alexa Chung’s ombre bob.

I’m still thinking about trying this ombre thing because I’m in the pool almost everyday and I don’t think an extra chemical would help my hair to look healthy though I’m trying my best and the most natural way to take care of  it.

I don’t know…Maybe after this summer, all the pool, the vacation, the sun, the sea events are over, I can try it.
