August 2017

It’s end of September and I barely remember August 2017 but here we go.

On the first day of August, we left for our summer vacation in Bodrum, more of which I’ll write about later. After 10 days, right after we came back it was my grandma’s death anniversary so we went to my hometown. And after that, a friend of ours got married in my husband’s hometown. And after that I burned all of our travelling bags…

So, as predicited we were not mostly at home. Packing bags, driving to places and it was exhausting. We continued that way till the second half of September so just for last 15 days I’m at home and incredibly happy about it.

So again as predicted, this is not going to be a long monthly recap. Between driving places we ate horribly unhealthy, we couldn’t watch any movies or series. I can only write about the books I’ve read during August.

I’ve read Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind: Informal Talks on Zen Meditation and Practice by Shunryu SuzukiThink and Grow Rich by Napoleon HillBreaking The Habit of Being Yourself: How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New One by Joe Dispenza and Fakat Müzeyyen Bu Derin Bir Tutku by İlhami Algör. I also listened to my first audiobook; The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson.

Well I guess that’s it for August 2017. It was a busy and draining month. if only we could go back to the vacation part of the month…
