I woke up with a back pain this morning. I might have slept in a bad position, I guess. So I need a warm shower and I’m not doing anything today. No laundry, no cooking, no ironing, no driving. I’m planning to read all day.
I started a new book yesterday evening: The Magic Ring by Friedrich Heinrich Karl de la Motte Fouqué. Yes, what a fancy name! It’s a knight’s tale. It’s said that it was an inspiration for Tolkien‘s The Lord of The Rings. Well, for me it’s a bit boring because this romantic and epic fantasy tales don’t attract me at all. But one should read everything even the readings she/he doesn’t like. Also I think a little too early to say that I don’t like it.
Last night I was reading another book which I didn’t like and I was complaining about how boring it was. Mr. T asked me “So why do you keep reading it if you don’t like it the slightest?” I answered; because I want to! I need to see how it ends. If I give it up on page 60, maybe starting from page 61 it will start to get better or I’ll learn or read something amazing, something extraordinary. So that’s why I keep reading even the books I don’t like.
I remember doing a quiz about reading personalities and I was the “Endurance Reader! You derive satisfaction from the achievement of completing the journey.” And yes I do.
Ok. I need to get up, have breakfast, take a shower, do my energy routine and do laundry. About back pain, I think it’s time for me to move. I should definetly add a work-out routine to my daily schedule.
