It’s all about Timing

I’ve started to read this book One, No one and a Hundred Thousand by Luigi Pirandello 12 days ago. I’ve only read 120 pages so far and I don’t want to read more of it. Why? Because the timing is not right.

I believe in “timing” or “right timing“. As to everything there’s a reason, everything has its time. You can say or do the right things but if it’s the wrong time, it means nothing. You can be in the exact right place but if the timing is not good everything can go in vain… If I’ve learnt a few things in my 37 years of existence, one of them is TIMING IS EVERYTHING

We can discuss this later, let’s get back to the book. It’s an amazing book first of all, very very interesting and I was eager to read it. But I can’t read it right now. It’s not the right time for me. My favorite thing in the world is to read in my bed before sleep. I even get excited before bed time but not with this book. I can not focus while reading it, therefore I can’t not understand what I read so I have to read the same sentence a few times. Thus I get bored. Sure I’ll finish reading it, I’m the Endurance Reader, remember? But I know I’ll re-read it some time later because as I said It’s an amazing book. But I know it has its own time in my life. Like Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse. I took it from my sister’s bookshelf when I was in high school. I started but never finished reading it. I got bored. And until 4 years ago, I didn’t even touch it. Now it’s one of my favorite books.

So the moral of the story is timing is everything and you have to trust the timing of your life. Two things I live by.
