April 2019

My daily updates sabotage my monthly recaps. Before those updates I had a good deal of things to write here… OK. What did we do in April 2019?

The first weekend of April we went to visit our parents as I mentioned here before. Mr. T was with his parents and I was with mine. My sister also came and we spent a fun family weekend all together. The following days after we came back passed by enjoying my new vegan gems that my sister brought from Berlin.

By the end of the month we went to Istanbul to celebrate my sister’s birthday. We stayed there 3 days and when we got back we were exhausted. I think we’ve started to spend our months alike. We travel or party on the weekends and get wasted and try to recover during weekdays. This reminds me my college years. Except I used to recover far quicker…

In April we bought a new bed and a new mattress. I’ve been wanting to change them for ages. We looked quite a few places but couldn’t find one like we wanted. But finally my dream bed found me one night while I was scrolling through Instagram and saw an ad. The next weekend we went to the shop, saw it and decided to buy it. It’s huge and it’s higher than our previous one! Just like I wanted. I’m so happy and so pleased we have it!

We started watching Killing Eve. It’s really good, we liked it. I still have no idea but we watched Mummy one night. I’ve finished the second season of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. What can I say? Me and my dark, goth, occult and witchcraft teenage drama love…

I’ve read 4 books in April. When Nietzsche Wept by Irvin D. Yalom, Breaking Stalin’s Nose by Eugene Yelchin, Running on Empty by Jonice Webb and Motherhood by Sheila Heti

Well, I think that was it for April 2019. We’re still waiting Spring to arrive here in Ankara. Today I have really a lot to do.  It’s 13:23 and I still haven’t had breakfast yet. The weather is horrible, cloudy and dark.  I wish to see the sun more this month. Hope you have a nice month.
