October 2019

There’s not much to recap October 2019 because for the most part of the month I was at home and Mr. T. was working. We had our once a week date nights (had an extra movie date night) and hosted my husband’s uncles and their family. It’s winter time, I guess spending more and more time indoors is inevitable.

I was mostly off work during the month, the weather was relatively cold so I threw myself into the kitchen. It was time for sweet (vegan) treats. So we can say my incredibly one of a kind delicious looking food photography is back. #sorrynotsorry

I baked really good stuff by the way. As a chocolate enthusiast, Mr. T. did love my vegan, sugar-free brownies. I, on the other hand, am obsessed with my oil-free, sugar-free matcha cookies. This month I tried something new and we loved it so much; Raw corn salade. I only made it two times and I can not find corn anywhere anymore…

We had a movie date this month and we watched Joker. Yes, Joaquin Phoenix has to take all of the Oscars to home. Yes, I like Joaquin Phoenix since I was 15. Yes, if they make me choose between Keanu Reeves and Joaquin Phoenix, I’ll jump out of the window. We watched the movie in one of those premium movie theaters. I experienced it for the first time actually. I must say it was good. Very comfortable and peopleless.

We said we were not going to watch any TV shows or series unless it’s something we really look forward to but we gave a chance one of them and now it’s one of my favorite TV series ever! We watched Fleabag. It’s amazing! She’s killing it! The best thing I watched in 2019. If you haven’t seen it yet, give it a go, you won’t regret it. Another thing I genuinely loved watching was an animation; The Secret of Kells. It was one of kind.

I’ve read 3 books in October. I’ve started reading the Hainish Cycle by Ursula K. Le Guin and finished the first book Rocannon’s World. Next I read Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman. Lastly I finished reading Russian Myths by Elizabeth Warner.

During October we watched 14 movies! Yesss! You read it right! My favorite among them (besides Joker) is This is Spinal Tap. If you want a good laugh, do not miss this rockumentary.

This was our October. It was a good month. I’m ready for the last two months of the year and more than ready for the new year. I wish you all a happy November!
